*Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008)
I think Mallrats is still my favorite Kevin Smith movie, but this is the best comedy of the ‘08(despite the cookie-cutter dramady ending.) Seth is already very typecast, but he still makes me laugh. Elizabeth Banks’s char was simply adorable; hot girls with a personality like hers are pretty rare…but she could use bigger boobs(maybe they should have cast her large breasted look-alike, Jessica Biel.)
Now, which of my lucky lady friends gets the pleasure of making a p0rno with me…

Yea, the politics behind the censorship of this movie and it’s posters are so ridiculous. It was indeed the best *romantic* comedy of 2008, hands-down. It actually stayed funny for 75%, unlike Knocked Up which seemed to have lost all humor by the 50% mark. And it had Fette’s Vette by MC Chris AND Hey! by The Pixies — 2 of my favorite songs. And I did not listen to The Pixies 2 yrs ago, so it FEELS like it’s a modern/cutting-edge song to me when I see it in a movie. haha.
Didn’t notice the boobs thing, though.
